Legendary noire style publicity photograph of the pioneer jazz conductor leader.  Whiteman commissioned George Gershwin to write “Rhapsody in Blue” for his orchestra.  Whiteman was the first to mingle classical with the growing genre of jazz.

Rare autographed handbill for the pianists “Gigantic Liszt Gala” at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, November 18th, 1976.  This all-Liszt concert was a three hour marathon with two intermissions and favorably reviewed.
