Near mint condition

Napoleon’s legendary castrato, was also a fine composer of arias and cantatas.  Here he autographs a six bar musical quotation in his well known hand on a leaf from a staved album in a humorous fashion.  A scarce composer & castrato autograph!

We offer a letter by the great composer to author and playwright Gabriel Mourey about arranging a meeting for a project he has put off.  The project was incidental music to Mourey’s play “Psyché” which became “Syrinx” for solo flute.
