Autographed oversized original photograph of the Swiss composer with a 4 bar musical quotation from his 1969 2nd Piano Concerto.  He quotes the opening theme for saxophone.  The concerto was commissioned by and for pianist Paul Badura-Skoda.

Near mint condition

The composer dedicates the score of the ballet for his opera “La Cid” for 4 hands as arranged by Léon Delahaye to a friend of his daughter with a 4 bar musical quotation from the “Aragonaise” dance portion of the ballet. This is the first edition of the score.

Autographed and inscribed score of the composer’s piano work “Le Retour” Op. 75 for 4 hands.  Lefebvre a pupil of Gounod and Thomas is best know for his operas "Zaďre" (1887) and "Djelma" (1894) which were very popular in their day.

The legendary film composer autographs a copy of the full score of his work for orchestra written in memory of his teacher Arthur Honegger.  Interestingly the score is inscribed to the French musical gadfly and organist Bernard Gavoty.

Autographed full 1969 printing of the French composer’s most enduring work, regularly performed all over the world. The Brazilian inspired piece was turned into a ballet by fellow Les Six member Jean Cocteau and is also a piano solo and duet.
