Historical Conductor Batons
Harmonie Autographs and Music, Inc. is proud to offer three significant historical conductor presentation batons, each over 100 years of age. Each baton was presented to a world famous late Romantic era composer and is made of elephant ivory, sterling silver and in one case shagreen. Each baton is fully licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to ship to US states and foreign countries which allow the sale of historical ivory. The Richard Strauss “Der Rosenkavelier” Presentation Baton, February 1, 1911 Presented to the composer by Luitpold, the Prince Regent of Bavaria at the time of the Munich Premiere of the composer’s most enduring opera.
